EUR-ACE® Label Authorisation Process

EUR-ACE® is the European quality label for engineering degree programmes at Bachelor and Master Level.

The EUR-ACE® label distinguishes only between First and Second cycle degrees. This means that graduates from EUR-ACE® labelled programmes can call themselves respectively either EUR-ACE® Bachelor or EUR-ACE® Master.

What engineering programmes can get a EUR-ACE® label?

Engineering programmes that have been accredited by a EUR-ACE® authorised agency can be awarded the EUR-ACE® label.

Authorisation to award the EUR-ACE® label may be granted both to…

(a) accreditation agencies, within the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), dealing only with the accreditation of engineering programmes, and

(b) quality assurance agencies, within the EHEA, which deal with institutional reviews and accreditation of programmes in engineering and other academic disciplines.
