Best Practice Exemplar in Engineering Accreditation

The ENAEE General Assembly convened in Almaty, Kazakhstan, on 14-15 November 2024, hosted by our Kazakh member agency at Satbayev University. This two-day event united global member agencies to discuss accreditation standards, share insights, and strengthen international collaboration.
Day 1 Highlights:
A workshop delved into accreditation essentials of the EUR-ACE® label system, focusing on the standards for issuing EUR-ACE® labels. The day concluded with a traditional dinner celebrating regional hospitality and honoring Ana Patricia Fernández-Getino García, Kseniya Zaitseva and Simona Lache, three female evaluators for their exceptional contributions to evaluation missions and EUR-ACE® label accreditation advocacy. They received the 2024 ENAEE award for EUR-ACE® evaluators.
Day 2 Highlights:
The General Assembly featured leadership elections, with President José Carlos Quadrado re-elected for another two-year term and five members elected to the Accreditation Council: Claire Peyratout, Keith Sunderland, Vicent Esteban Chapapria, Michael Fernando and Matthias Werner.
This milestone event reaffirmed ENAEE’s commitment to global excellence in accreditation. Special thanks to CAAAE member agency and Satbayev University for hosting this successful gathering.
