How to become an authorized agency
Accreditation agencies or similar bodies can apply for the authorization to award the EUR-ACE Label.
In the authorization process they will need to provide evidence that
- their standards and procedures comply with the ENAEE Standards and Guidelines
- the programmes which they accredited fulfil the learning outcomes as set out by the EUR-ACE Framework Standards
Please note that ENAEE membership is not a prerequiste for the authorization.

Candidate Agency
An Agency that is being reviewed by the ENAEE for authorization may be given the status Candidate Agency, provided that the submitted application appears to comply with the ENAEE requirements. The criteria and procedures to be used for deciding Candidate Agency status are set out in a document approved by the Administrative Council.
The price tag
ENAEE currently does not charge for the review prcess but applicant agencies are expected to cover the travel and subsistence costs of the review team during the on site visits (for more details, click here).
There is an annual authorization fee to be paid to ENAEE.
